OK.... I'll wait.

The only question I have is if I'll need to build the kernels (both 
sysinst and GENERIC flavors) myself or if these will be made available 
somewhere.  I don't have a cross-compilation host set-up, so if I need to 
set this up it'd be nice to know before hand.

Just for grins I attempted to install 1.6.2 on my MobilePro 780.  While 
things were looking promising for a while (newfs ran w/out problems) 
things eventually came to an end with a "Panic: TLB out of universe" in 
gzip while installing base.tgz from an msdos partition on a CF card in the 
PCMCIA slot.

It makes me wonder if anyone has NetBSD running successfully on a 780.  
And if so, how?
