Finally took the plunge and installed 2.0 on my MobilePro 880 over the
weekend.  I had great difficulties using a CF formfactor microdrive in
the CF slot, and a CF card containing the installation files in a PCMCIA
adapter in the PCMCIA slot.  Netbsd kept locking up when mounting
/dev/wd1e.  So I finally took a Netgear wired card, stuck it in, and
installed over NFS.

Anyway - to the problem at the moment.  I have a Dlink DCF650W 802.11b
wireless card that works fine on my home network, but won't work with
the wireless drivers under netbsd.  I've run into this problem before,
an 802.11g WAP and one of my 802.11b wireless cards.  They will connect
to 802.11g WAPs, but only with the correct drivers.  Evidently, the
supplied driver for the DCF650W won't connect to, or see (wiconfig -D),
my 802.11g WAP.  It works OK with an 802.11b WAP.  The DCF650W is a
Prism 2 chipset.

How do I get updated drivers that will connect to an 802.11g WAP?

I've also got a PCMCIA Adaptec AWN8030 PCMCIA card that isn't recognized
by the kernel - so I assume I need to get the source, add the
manufacturer IDs, etc., and recompile.  The AWN8030 is a Prism 2.5
chipset.
