  The problem is that no TLB entry is being make for kernel VM.  See the
"pmap_unwire: wiring didn't change" thread(s) on port-mips and PR 14801
for why the change was made.  I don't know enough about this code to know
what the right fix is, but the info in the PR should be sufficient for
those who do.  IIRC, the pmap_unwire error messages are the worst effects
of the old code.
