I've been reading this list for a while and installed NetBSD on my =
Mobile Pro 780 without too much trouble. But I found the default xterms =
to be way oversized for my liking. I copied xinitrc into / and changed a =
few things but the changes didn't have any effect. It seems xinit isn't =
reading /.xinitrc at all but rather the read-only copy at =
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc.I used vi to make some changes to that =
file and overroad the read-only status. Those changes showed up.
Am I missing something (possible) or is there something wrong with the =
way things got setup?
Thanks
Carl
