I shared the pkgsrc directory via nfs and just mounted the nfs share on =
the mobile pro. That way I just compiled it on my mobile pro using the =
storage on the nfs server. =20

Subject: pkgsrc

Hello hpcmips-folk:

Can I compile a package from pkgsrc without having pkgsrc on my local =20
machine?

That is, is there a set of tools that will go get the source via ftp, =20
bring it back to my machine, and compile it locally?

If there is (if this is how it *does* work), it wasn't obvious to =20
me. Sorry.

Thanks,
Tom

Sorry for so many questions here. . .just trying to learn all I can!
