I did this in the GENERIC config file:
##mqvideo* at vr4102ip? addr 0x0a000000 size 0x800000 # MQ200 video
##hpcfb* at mqvideo?
Recompiled and it worked. X still works as well.
Should I submit a PR? I'm not sure what the code snippet you posted
actually does so I don't know how to fix it...
