The driver is ok, it's just that default ansi colours are indeed too
dim for the Jornada LCD. Unfortunately, there's no standard userland
tool to edit the palette. You can write a simple program that uses
WSDISPLAYIO_PUTCMAP to change the first 8 colours in the colourmap (or
just edit rasops_cmap in sys/dev/rasops/rasops.c and compile a new
kernel :).
