PCMCIA modem on Jornada

Am having some trouble getting NetBSD to see my PCMCIA modem (a 3COMEtherlink III lan+modem card). The modem is detected as com1. Runningcu to test, it says connected, but the keystrokes are not echoed, andthe modem does not respond. Anyone have any ideas what I'm doingwrong? Mike
