First, remember to do a "make depend" and perhaps even a "make clean".
Second, that looks suspiciously like COMPAT_LINUX depends on COMPAT_09,
so if you haven't enabled that in your kernel, try it.

linux mode worked fine for me (after a make clean), though DOOM is a bit
slow...  (and no sound!  Waaah!)
