Hello,
I recall a discussion a while back, of PCI ethernet cards, but the final
word was not clear... Are there any PCI cards that are known to work?
(I have latest -current)
I have a BOCA PCI ethernet which is really nothing more that the
AMD PCnet-PCI AM79C970 chip, but haven't had much luck with it.
If anyone knows whether the above chipset works, or how to define
it in my kernel config file, I would appreciate it! And if this is
a "write the driver yourself" type of thing, how would I go about
that? (AMD specs, PCI bus specs?)
Thanks!
