You almost go it. Try:
	config		netbsd root on wd0 swap on wd1 dumps on wd1

(I wanted to know this a long time ago, so poked around various doccos
till I found it. Since then I've noticed that some of the
/sys/arch/*/conf/* files use this syntax.)
