Am I imagining things?

vmstat used to be able to show disk activity on the i386
port, but now it doesn't.  I was under the impression that
I had gotten something out of sync, so I rebuilt current
kernel, libs, ld, and vmstat, and it still doesn't work.

in fact, the code shows that read_names is a nop for i386,
which appears to indicate that the support for that was
removed?
