Agreed!  (How come I agree with you so much, Jordan?  Say something
wrong, dammit!)

That userconfig sounds like such cool stuff, I can't believe nobody
has expressed interest in it, yet.  I think it would be exceptionally
useful.  Would there be any potential machine-independent problems?
Problems using the keyboard on non-intel boxes during boot?
