turn on debugging with ifconfig for that interface and the ep driver
will emit more information.

on our two machines (386s) that use ep cards:
	I	Ierr
	857715	1045
	1098088	159

packet overruns account for most of the errors due to nfs, ppp gateway,
and a damn slow cpu.
