I think that the SCSI-side of those chips is ncr, at least that
vs300 and vs machines have NCR-scsi (it's on EISA-bus for vs).
Not even close. The SCSI half is the same as the AMD 53c974, which is
different from any other chip. It's more or less a smarter version of
the 53c94. Unlike other recent SCSI chips, it has no onboard `script'
processor.
