I'd love to just go out and buy an Alpha. :-) Unfortunately, my budget
just isn't that big. Maybe in a few more years when my first grant of
Microsoft stock is fully vested. ;-)
A nice Pentium motherboard, in spite of all the weird PC-related
hardware out there, can give you a helluva bang for the buck, still.
