I don't know about 78500 and 78600, but I suppose it is AIC-7850 and 7860
as explorer said.
NetBSD MI SCSI has known problem to handle AIC-7850 (and probably 7860).
It can safely access ONLY one SCSI device, simultaneously.
(Because 7850 has only 3 SCBs. I don't know about 7860, but I suppose
It has only 3 SCBs, too.)
So, I do NOT recommend 7850 (and 7860), until NetBSD MI SCSI is fixed.
