I was just busy building a kernel for a second machine I have, and
I am having make dump core doing a "make depend" -- anyone else
seeing anything like this?  It even does this for a kernel config
file it previously worked on.

It is possible that these are binaries from 1.2 Beta days, now
working with a 1.2 Kernel, since I grabbed new kernel sources.
Would that explain anything??
