Interesting.  My 'router' happens to be a 386DX-20, with the stock
NetBSD 'com' driver and an AST-clone 4-port card.

Now, i don't have a 33.6 modem (mine only goes up to 28.8), but it's
rather stable and i only see overflows once in a blue moon (like, i've
not see any in the time that the machine has been up).
