Wow, this is weird... I tried unplugging the HD, and now the ethernet
card works... of course, I still can't install NetBSD :P So, why does
the hard disk screw with the ethernet card? Something about LBA mode,
maybe? Also, I don't know if it matters, but the 

Here's a copy of the kernel message buffer (without HD, but with
ethernet). BTW, the port assigned in PnP mode is 0x240, not 0x280 as I
originally said.
