Is there some reason why I need to "wildcard" the configuration of my
isa bus?
If I try to hardwire it as "isa0 at pcib0..." and attach all of the
dependant devices (isapnp0, npx0, pc0, pcppi0, com0, fdc0, and wss0) to
isa0, the resulting kernel panics right after printing out the root
device info. If, OTOH, I configure it as "isa* at pcib0..." and attach
the dependant devices to isa?, the kernel boots just fine.
Anyone got any ideas?

Subject: Problems with -current
New kernel built from sources -current as of this morning's (18 July)
update...
Kernel compiles and links just fine, but upon booting, it gets as far as
reporting the root device, and then panics:
vm_fault(0xf0961900, 0, 1, 0) -> 1
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stopped at 0: invalid address
This is 100% repeatable.
