Hello! Poornima Kini, I'm Naoki.

In Qpopper package,

Sorry, I don't know how to use (re-compile) packages on NetBSD...
#and my English is not good... sorry!
but I know...

Please REMOVE
  -fpcc-struct-return
in Makefile's CFLAGS line.

I got qpopper2.53.tar.Z from ftp.qualcomm.com and compiled it on my
NetBSD-1.3.2/i386 box.

$tar Zxvf qpopper2.53.tar.Z
...
$cd qpopper2.53
$./configure --enable-apop --with-apopuid
...

1. Before remove -fpcc-struct-return in CFLAGS,

$make
...
$su
$./popauth -init
$./popauth

and I got core dumped ;-(

2. After remove it,

$make
...
$su
$./popauth -init
$./popauth

and popauth seems to work fine :-)

This is Makefile that popauth seems to work fine: (I modified CFLAGS &
DEFS lines. You should also modify config.h and popper.h if you want to
compile from tarball.)
