On 29-Jul-98 Harald Bjoroy spoke unto us all:

On most of my machines.. I never configure any disk except the first into the
BIOS.  I just let netbsd detect them on it's own..  I can't guarantee this will
work for everyone.. but it seems to have worked for me all this time..
