That is an RTFM answer, but there is too much FM for new users to R.

If the problem is common, and especially if it prevents people from getting
to a point where they can use 'man', then it deserves to be in a FAQ of some
kind.

Otherwise how is someone supposed to find about, and learn how to use, key
troubleshooting methods such as the debugging facilities?
