ifaliases work fine on my 1.3.3 kernels. "netstat -ni" will show something
like the following (I have the ifaliases on lo0):
lo0 32976 127 127.0.0.1 106925 0 106925 0 0
lo0 32976 194.231.2.162 194.231.2.162 106925 0 106925 0 0
lo0 32976 194.231.2.163 194.231.2.163 106925 0 106925 0 0
lo0 32976 194.231.2.164 194.231.2.164 106925 0 106925 0 0
lo0 32976 194.231.2.165 194.231.2.165 106925 0 106925 0 0
lo0 32976 194.231.2.166 194.231.2.166 106925 0 106925 0 0
lo0 32976 194.231.2.167 194.231.2.167 106925 0 106925 0 0
lo0 32976 194.231.2.168 194.231.2.168 106925 0 106925 0 0
Perhaps you can show us what exactly you have done and tell us in more
detail how they are not working.
