Thanks to all that sent info on setting up the 1.3.3 with the 3c503.
It works like a charm now.

Question.... in updating the 1.3.3 to 1.3.3I, using tarballs --unlink,
are there any gotchas that I should be aware of, other than squirrelling
away a set of /etc/stuff to patch back in, or should I leave /etc alone?
