No problems for me, on S3, S3V PCI boards or ATI Xpert98 AGP (Mach64) boards.
This is with Intel pentium, cyrix 133, K6/200, K6II/350, PPro.
But I do have 'wscons=YES'. I can either halt, reboot or switch vt's without
problems.
