Hi,
I'm trying to install NetBSD 1.4 onto a 386/4M RAM/40M HD to use as a router
and NAT.
It reads the floppy for the install, prints some messages, like:
(perry@cynic.cynic.net) Fri May 7 11:30:41 PDT 1999
>> Memory 640/3072K
1544192+1695744+139784 = 0x3392...
(I couldn't quite catch the last few digits of the hex number, because the
machine rebooted.).
Has anybody seen this "auto-reboot before installing anything" behavior?
No amount of twiddling with BIOS settings had any effect. And, for what it's
worth, I -am- able to successfully install Minix 2.0.2, Linux MCC 1.0+ and
W98 Second Edition (from the rescue floppy) with no problems at all.
Thanks! -Mike
