Hi,
after ttyflags -a (in /etc/rc) my WD8013EPC ethernet card
is unusable. There is always a device timeout.
If I ifconfig the card at the very beginning of /etc/rc
I can ping other hosts until the "ttyflags -a" command
in line 95.
This is a plain NetBSD-1.4 installation with the GENERIC
kernel from kern.tgz.
Hubert Feyrer was so kind to send me an 1.4.1 INSTALL
kernel -- the same problem.
The card works without problems in single user mode
(I installed via this card).
Is this a known problem?
Ingolf
