Okay, so, here's the results of my testing:
I have a handful of CF cards (mostly used with my Psion) sitting around.
I have a laptop, and my roommate has another laptop.
With either laptop, under NetBSD, or with my laptop, under BSD/OS, the CF
cards don't work. The NetBSD error message is
pcic_chip_socket_enable: status c
pcic_wait_ready: ready never happened, status = 0c
BSD/OS says something about a failure during power-up, I think, but I don't
have it handy.
On my laptop, under Windows, the CF cards work fine; I've tried several.
Can anyone suggest what I should look at to fix this, or how to interpret
"status c"?
