I'm not really sure what a Logitech First Mouse is; I have a Logitech
mouse that is fairly recent (a year old, or so) has three buttons and
no wheel.

In my XF86Config file I have:

Section "Pointer"
   Protocol	   "Mouseman"
   Device          "/dev/tty00"
EndSection

This is with NetBSD-1.4_ALPHA/i386 (yeah, yeah, I know) and XFree86
3.3.3.
