I would rather suggest that we admit it, and no longer support the
single 1.44MB floppy install image for the "default" installation.
The two-floppy set works fine, as does the "bootfloppy-big" image
(at least when embedded on a CD-ROM).  In fact, the 1.2MB image
still builds, but isn't being built by the Makefile in the parent
directory.  I suggest we change that as well.

my (locally modified) distrib/i386/floppies/Makefile contains:

#SUBDIR=3D        ramdisk fdset bootfloppy bootfloppy-big bootfloppy-tiny
SUBDIR=3D         ramdisk fdset bootfloppy-big bootfloppy-small bootfloppy-tiny
