Subject: notebooks?
I'm trying to find a new notebook computer to run NetBSD on. The old
one is just too close to dead.
Requirements for me are:
1) Full sized keyboard. I can't live without this.
2) Light. 4 pounds good, 5 pounds almost too heavy. 3 pounds orgasmic.
3) Known to handle NetBSD well.
"Goodies" would be:
4) Nice sized display
5) joystick-in-keyboard mouse over trackpad
6) good battery life
7) onboard ethernet and modem I could use with NetBSD.
I don't need built in CD, DVD, floppy, or anything else like that.
Ideas?
