My NEC Versa SX is very nice.  The key spacing is the same as on my
IBM [tm] keyboard.  I am very tempted by the most recent Sony VAIO,
because it's a pound lighter (mine is 4.5 pounds with the second
battery in, I think).  The only problem with the Versa is that the
Maestro sound driver doesn't work yet and the display driver didn't
work in accelerated mode last time I tried it, although I don't know
that the latest SX uses the same chip as mine anyway.
