I recompiled the kernel, eliminating all the PCI support (i386 doesn't
have PCI). When I tried reconfiguring a kernel without keyboard, the
SCSI bus timed out (took a few hours of compile time)! Anyone have
any suggestions?
Here are some things to think about:
1) the SCSI-II connections on CD and HD are not the same, had
to twist the SCSI cable
2) The box is packed with 2 floppies, QIC-40 tape, 1GB 5400 RPM FAST SCSI HD,
SCSI-II CD (8x?).
3) What will happen if I flip the 1GB HD to eliminate the twist in SCSI cable?
