Hello Gregg,

The S3 Virge/MX is not supported by the accelerated S3V server in
XFree86 v3.3.6. In any case, the S3V accelerated server is no longer 
actively supported and XFree86 recommend against using it.

(See /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/doc/README.S3V in the XFree86 3.3.6
distribution for more details).
