True, but I'll be in Vermont for the weekend, and I don't have DSL
connection there. Since I've already got 1.4.2 on CD, and the CD-ROM that
came with the Stinkpad...

BTW, I have two DEC Multias, and two other Thinkoad 360 laptops. Once I know
this portable CD-ROM works, I can use it between all of them... 

		It might work - if not and you can boot a kernel with
		PCMCIAVERBOSE, then it may be a simple matter of adding
		a couple of entries to /sys/dev/pcmcia/wdc_pcmcia.c and
		/sys/dev/pcmcia/pcmciadevs
Really? Any ideas what they might be?
