Just built and installed the 1.5beta kernel on my ThinkPad 310E.  Still
the same problem (PR<something>): When I try to adjust contrast using
Fn + Fkey, the system freezes.  The same happens if I close the lid.
I have no idea of how to debug this.  Under 1.4.x, this all works just
fine.  Under 1.5, same freezes with or without APM support in kernel.

Sigh.
