So, I haven't changed anything... but my desktop machine that *was* working
no longer works.  It gets timeouts on all sorts of things, and eventually the
card hangs.

I ran a couple of successful tests, ftp'd files... and then it stopped
working.  I rebooted, and it doesn't seem to recover.  Occasionally wiconfig
will run, but mostly, it gets timeouts trying to read anything at all.
