I've found 1.5P kernel with LARGEPAGES option enabled makes programs
run slower. It took 6 min 50 sec to compile the kernel source while
GENERIC 1.5P kernel took 6 min 29 sec to do the same thing. Isn't
LARGEPAGES used to enable 4MB superpage TLB for kernel memory mapping?
Obviously they're much improved results compared to 1.5 kernel without UBC
(7 min 43 sec), but I'm still searching for a way to make my NetBSD even
faster.
