Has anyone been suing the above mentioned card under Xfree86 3.3.6?

I am planning a new system and would like to upgrade to xfree86 4.0 and 
it looks like this card is well supported by 4.0 but I'm not sure about 
3.3.6. The Xpert 98 is on the compatible 3.3.6 list, but I'm not sure of 
the differences.
