I've been planning to do something like that with DOSBOOT and the generic
kernel, to see if it would recognize my Trantor T130B SCSI card. According to
what I saw on the NetBSD Web site, DOSBOOT is included in the generic kernel
.tgz file. I have internal Texel, now Plextor, 2x CD-ROM drive and external
Iomega Zip 250 on this SCSI. It would be much too cumbersome to try to install
NetBSD on current computer from CD without the NetBSD installer being able to
read the CD. I think you would have to be in straight DOS, not a VDM, to run
DOSBOOT.
