I didn't have any problems at all installing a beta NetBSD 1.5 on my
5000e.  There's still no sound driver (a couple of people are working
on it), and APM is a bit broken (it's easier to leave it out for now),
but other than that there were no problems doing an install of CD-ROM.

What problems are you having exactly?
