I am anticipating installing on a 5000e and was going to
use Partition Magic to divide the HD into two partitions
for NetBSD and WIN98, respectively.

I have not had probles yet, but wanted to run a preliminary
check to anticipate any problems that may arise. 

Did you use separate MS/BSD partitions?
