Have you heard of userland Linux? It runs the Linux kernel as a process
running on a Linux kernel. It would be interesting to experiment in this
direction. My main interest would be for "sandboxing" a service I did not
trust, like a MUD. A more challenging and interesting project would be
what you mentioned, having multiple concurrent operating systems on top of
NetBSD.
