The Celeron is a P-III type CPU. If OpenBSD and Linux report it as a
Coppermine, then I would say they are mis-identifying the CPU.
What version of NetBSD are you using? Here is how my P-III laptop
(IBM ThinkPad T20) is reported in -current:
cpu0: Intel Pentium III (Coppermine) (686-class), 497.85 MHz
cpu0: I-cache 16K 32b/line 4-way, D-cache 16K 32b/line 2/4-way
cpu0: L2 cache 256K 32b/line 8-way
cpu0: features 387f9ff<FPU,VME,DE,PSE,TSC,MSR,PAE,MCE,CX8,SEP,MTRR>
cpu0: features 387f9ff<PGE,MCA,CMOV,FGPAT,PSE36,PN,MMX,FXSR,XMM>
cpu0: serial number 0000-0683-0003-ED32-BCE5-A2A1
