Yes, you can get dosboot.com (it's in /usr/mdec on a NetBSD/i386 install,
you should also find it in NetBSD-1.5/i386/installation/) to load the
kernel from dos. Just need to put dosboot.com and a install kernel with ramdisk
on your dos filesystem.
