Um, synchronous serial ports?  Which are those?


(Or did you mean the asynch. ``com'' ports?  I certainly have needed those
in the past---one laptop I briefly installed it on couldn't handle the
bootable CD and I will never install NetBSD via floppies again.  The only
way I could isntall it was via a SLIP (no PPP in INSTALL).)
