Hi,

I still have this problem that the PS/2 keyboard used as console goes into
autorepeat after the first keypress. It seems that the keyup-event gets lost
as the repeat speed can be changed with wsconsctl.

I need to have an USB keyboard plugged in before pressing a key on the PS/2
keyboard to make it work. The USB keyboard can be unplugged after that and
the PS/2 keyboard keeps working.

Unplugging the PS/2 keyboard for a moment seems to help also, but only as
long as I don't press NumLock or CapsLock. Then it looks up again.
This keyboard has already worked fine with a NetBSD installation, but on a
different machine.

I'm pretty much fed up with this problem now, if anybody has an idea please
tell me!


BTW: The USB driver used to crash when the USB keyboard was unplugged, but
it seems that disabling uhid in the kernel fixes this. The keyboard was
previously recognized as ukbd and uhid, which was probably one too much...
