Yes, it was an XFree86 question and I read somewhere on that site and 
downloaded xfstt - a X font server which runs at port 7101 and whose default 
path I added to the /etc/X11/XF86Config, went to the M$ site and downloaded 
their TTF's and shifted it to the font dir 
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/Fonts/TrueType.

The look is cool!
